Who We Are

Coastal Explorations is a small, adventure oriented touring company in Corolla, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound, we strive to base our activities on our aqueous surroundings.

What makes us different from all other touring companies in the area?

We feel that it is our relationship with our explorers. Each of our guides is chosen based on their friendly, outgoing personalities, their love of the outdoors, & their knowledge and skill. Our group sizes are kept small so that you have a more personal experience while on the water. Coastal Explorations is the vision and business of an Outer Banks native – it’s a little bit like getting a “back stage pass” while on vacation. We make sure that you get an authentic feel for the waters and culture that are so unique to our area.
